Wow, so this sheds a lot of light on why we eat how we do... A case of do what I say and not what I do. I feel as if federal subsidies pyramid was reversed it would be a win win for everyone, healthier options and agriculture that is better for the environment. What do you think?

Another reason for Grass versus Grain fed meat
I recently ran across this article and wanted to share and give a little input from my own experience. We have recently started purchasing grass fed meat from our company that brings us local produce every other week and it is by far superior to the grain fed, even organic grain fed meat. I was amazed how much flavor the meat had, it tasted like, yes get this, meat! I know crazy. I would really recommend trying it if you are like me and have tried to give up meat to help the environment but just can't seem to make the switch.

Green cookbooks
I have read through a couple of the latest green trend in these green cookbooks popping up all over and while most give some good tips and ideas, this latest one seems to delve into lifestyle choices as well. They also have a companion site that compliments the book. It seems like a great comprehensive guide to living eco-friendly with food.
