Green "duh" of the day

So someone asked me a couple of days ago if using things like swiffer pads to clean your house was considered green.   Seriously, someone asked me this.  The answer is no, especially since there are ways to dust that take just a bit of elbow grease and a reusable/washable microcloth or duster.  Now I do have some swiffers in my house, as I use them to clean the cobwebs on our very high ceilings because ladders are not my friend.  Like I've  said on this blog before, I'm not perfect.  It just takes a little thought some days to be green, wasting a partially used piece of cloth everytime you dust creates needless trash that ends up in a landfill.   So that's my Green "duh" for the day.
